Dylan Kamalay is an artist and writer based in Cleveland, Ohio.

While originally a Michigan native, she ventured to Ohio to earn her degree in animation at the Cleveland Institute of Art. During her undergrad, she had the opportunity to work as a Previsualization Intern on the feature film Dog Eat Dog, where she received hands on experience working with director, Paul Schrader.

Dylan currently works a hybrid role of content creation and customer service management for Cheezoo - a sister-company of the outsourcing house, Photographer's Edit. She also works as a freelance podcast editor for Gaffin Creative AND is going on year five of running her own small handmade jewelry biz, Water Bear Clay Co. (She wears a lot of hats, just not physically.)

Dylan has always been passionate about writing and experimenting with unique ways of storytelling in both live-action and animation. Her work ethic is accompanied by her strong attention to detail. She's especially down for any challenge where she can use her creativity and collaborate with others. She loves being on a team, making her coworkers laugh, and working in a fast-paced environment. She is currently seeking new opportunities to gain further experience in animation, entertainment, film, and tv.
